I think Brian Sell said it best when he said "if I want to know what some 18 minute 5Ker has to say about my training I'll ask my wife".

You and Brian Sell, both go direct to m gallery of stupid people that doesn´t understand nothing at all about training.
The pall that thinks that the person to be a good coach needs to be a great runner performer it´s nothing but stupid and got training ignorance.
Besides you quote Renato and Renato wrote several times on this board that the good coach doesn´t need to have been a good runner. one 18min 5k runner might know more about training and coach distance than you and Brian togehter. So, please stop to be stupid.
Have you heard about Gersheler, Peter Coe, or Lydiard ? they were never been fast runners but they were great coaches.
Do you know what´s Renato Canova 5k pb ?
Please be a bit intelligent in your comments.
