Among other things.

Such as?
Women take longer b/c they can't use urinals, you whiners. The lines for women's rooms are routinely twice as long. Grow up.
I'm female, so I guess I should chime in = no, I've never seen this before. I often use a men's restroom in a place I frequent because the women's has been out of order for as long as I've been going there. A long, long time ago I worked in Korea at an engineering university and there were hardly any restrooms for women, due to the majority of the students being men. But the women's were always free, so no need to complain. Again, most of the restrooms that I see have just one for each sex. Personally I don't have any issues with a unisex... well... don't I? I think I'd prefer one for just women. Don't guys want one for themselves? I know women of certain cultures would not want a mixed one. I think the best way is to just have single rooms and make them all unisex like starbucks, except there seem to be a lot of stories about cameras. Or business owners could try to make the women's bigger than the men's (as mentioned, women can't use urinals which take up less space, or teach us how to use it, lol, or just put in a row of squatters)
I've had just the opposite experience (back in the 80s) when I worked in a three story office/lab that had a men's room on each floor but only one women's (it was on the 2nd floor and I worked on the 3rd).
Same experience in grad school with a portion of the old engineering building. Times have changed.

Yeah, it is better to have separate bathrooms so that when one goes through the effort of putting in a camera you don't have it full of a bunch of pictures of guys.
I call BS on this one bro. I've worked as a janitor before and I've got news for you, women are worse than men, way worse. A lot of them use the bathroom to puke because they have eating disorders, then there's the ones who take a sh!t and don't flush, also yeah blood is an issue too. Men's rooms usually just some piss on the floor, and urine is sterile NBD. On the whole women's restrooms are nasty, of course they would want you to believe otherwise.

As someone noted, the women might not want to share both bathrooms.

I accept that the business made a decision that it thought was in its best interest and way to handle it. Maybe they had 2 unisex bathrooms before and had complaints. A restaurant needs to listen to is customers.
