the winner was the soph from Wis. Stevens in 3:54. didn't get the see the race, just hearing the announcer after the finish.

CALLED IT! JAKE WATERMAN, FTW! DESTROYED THE FIELD!
more details on the 8 and 15 anyone?
I love seeing my midwestern guys just take all the top spots from the eastcoasters!!!!!11
I am sorry we don't time trial all year boys... but what we do, do, is prepare to win championships... Boom roasted again!
The 1500 went out really slow and Brown let himself get boxed in. By the time he finally made a move to the outside, the race was already over. I find it really strange that guys like him and Turlip who don't have blazing kicks let races unfold like this. Brown was boxed in and near last place the whole race.
Do you have any splits on the race? Also, I don't understand why someone like Chris Brown wouldn't just use his strength to hammer from 700m out and not leave it to chance. He ran the last 800m of his 3:43 in about 1:58, so you'd think that off a slow opening pace he could muster a 1:55.

I find the midwest/northeast antagonism on here really strange. Rooting for kids from your conference or area shouldn't entail hating whole other regions of the country.
I need to give a little love to Justin Johnson of St. Norbert College. Ran 13.79 as a freshman to dominate the 110H final and get a Trials B standard in the process. Second best freshman time in the nation regardless of division (only behind Cabral of Oregon). Big things to come for the kid.
d3 is improving so much. great to see.
also, not sure why you care so much about what region does better. awesome, midwest was better, good for them. I don't understand why you are trying to hold it over the east coast, considering they had some great performances as well.
doping is ruining D3--especially in the midwest.
Lots of jealousy towards the Midwest in this thread. You all wish you could live in the best part of the country. Haters gonna hate, I guess.

Were you in the championships? If not, why are you using "we"?

what are you talking about?
The midwest is beat. I'm heading to the Hamptons.
haha ok BRO, the last thing our sport needs is comrodery and we need competition, what I am trying to do is fire the eastcoasters up, because the fact is they just dont want it as bad as the midwesterners do, it takes a lot of heart to win like we win. and frankly, east coasters, want to run fast times, run on banked tracks, and get all the help in the world. its rampant in the eastern states, they are soft, and they need to toughen up. guys running that fast during the year, should not be getting rolled all the time, that is not 'great performances' then need to toughen up and fight, like Wisconsin schools do!

Answer the man's question. Or are you just another 21-minute 5K guy that one of the Wisconsin schools happen to let practice with them and help them carry water bottles / time runners at meets?
See this is a prime example of why you eastcoasters dont get it... why I say "we" is because I know what it is like to be part of a team... whether I am winning the race, cheering on the sidelines, or looking up the results on my computer, I know I contributed, as a teammate. We push each other hard in practice, and keep each other accountable... so yes I can saw we, because I we present in every race and event on that day...
and secondly, if you think times matter so much, which I know you and all eastcoasters do, and you think its funny to make fun of someones PR, let's race... and we can even do it Eastcoast style... we can time trial events separately, from across the country, and the person that ends up with the fastest PR in the end, wins... because that's how nationals should be run, right?????
As a midwesterner... that's total bullcrap. If you ain't in the top ten you ain't contribootin to your team. Sorry, that's just how it is.
