Great weekend up here. Lots of yard work and a couple of solid (eat-as-much-as-I-want-the-rest-of-the-day) workouts. Feels good to at least shuffle each day without the calf tightness.
About 60+ miles with a couple of tempo's and some quicker strides.
Mon (grass) - 20min tempo 2min rest, 10min tempo
Weds (track) - 2k tempo, 3x 1k @ 3:08's - tougher than it should have been.
Sat - 8x 150 with a true sprinter walk/jog 250 recovery. Felt great to rev it up.
Priviledged to watch Mr Uli S progress up to Masters ranks. He has a Marathon and Ultra Trail background and will be a force from 5k & up thru XC. Kentucky this Fall will be fun.
