Lukas hit the jockpot, whipped it out and took a whiz on Phil Knight, and left Methville, Oregon for stardom in the Triathlon. We should all be so lucky. Go Lukas !!!!!!!!!!!

I'll agree with you. I really think he would of. He seemed to have really good leg speed velocity.
Your welcome.
Augustine Choge ran a 7:28 3000m when he was age 18.
I guess we can expect a sub 25:00 10000m out of him sometime soon.
This trend of using would twice in one sentence is really sad. You only use would in the clause describing the outcome of a hypothetical situation, not in the clause postulating the hypothetical. In this example, your sentence should read, "Verzbicas would have broken Bekele's 10k world record if he had stuck around."
dude are you seriously on letsrun.. which is a running website and talking about gramar.. what world do you people live in... in todays world internet slang and unproper gramar is the thing. people use letters to abreviate sentances. example LoL .. now that not proper but i'm sure you yourself use it also.. why don't u guys that prey on the post tryin to find messed up gramar go be teachers at a school or somthing and preach to children about it.. and leave lets run to running questions and answers. thanks
Why the F**** does no body realize this kid literally double the aerobic work in HS than even Rupp and company.... The kid would swim, bike, and run.... He was able to put more endurance into a hiigh school career than probably most Africans..... If he had just ran and not done the other two aerobic sports he would have not been as good.... You simply cannot put in that much aerobic work in 4 years through running alone..... Was he talented at running? Yes obviously.... But more so than German who ran 60+ mpw ?. Haha NO... Not to mention the kid was significantly old for his grade.... Look he went to Oregon and is performances stagnated and declined.... Why? He dropped the other two sports..... Morons.

Your post is spot on. It's weird that so many do not recognize the obvious.
Still, I feel compelled to let you know that the proper usage is "had run", not "had ran".
Your welcome.
"Your welcome"? I think you mean "You're welcome". Don't correct people and make a mistake as dumb as the one you attempted to correct.
funnnnnnneeeeyy!! I love how guys try and come on here and think they are better than someone because they can spell.. o mg.. wow.. in todays world. you don't have to know how to spell.. lets be serious.. if you are doing a job that needs you to spell correctly you must be a teacher.. and we are not kids on letsrun. so you can save you class leasons. if you have a job that needs you to spell correctly. well there is microsoft word that corrects your misspellings for you so it doesn't affect your job because of technology. this is not the 90's ne more. and abreviations and spelling errors are not a big deal. get over it book worm and go be a english teacher if thats what you want to do..i myself can't spell worth a lick.. but i was a good runner in my day. and i make 50k plus a year now.. so take your spelling and stick it up your butt because i hate to tell you but you don't have to know how to spell to do things in this world..

Firstly, I think that LV is the greatest disappointment ever in US running. He could have been the next Pre, of course Pre wouldn't have quit after facing some tough times, but besides that LV had guts.
Secondly, lets look at the US's two fastest guys ever over 10,000 meters; Chris Solinsky, (26:59.60) and Galen Rupp (26:48.00).
Solinsky ran 8:43.24 in high school. That is 27:15.1 pace if carried over to 10,000 meters. So Solinsky was able to run a 10k at 2.484 seconds per 1600m less than his 3200 pace in high school.
Rupp ran an 8:03.67 3000, or about 8:39.33 for 3200m. That is 27:02.9 pace. So Solinsky was able to run a 10k at 2.385 per 1600m less than his 3200 pace in high school. Get where I'm going???
Transfer it over to LV's 3200 time and say he runs 2.4 faster than he did in high school... 26:07.82.
Stay away from Crack and Meth kids.

Wow, 50k a year? Clearly you don't need to be concerned about your writing as a representation of your intellectual ability in order to be a success in the world.

Did you really just post that you make 50k plus a year as if this impressive? Or even decent? Seriously?
50k a year is 24 dollars a hour.. where I am from that is pretty good money. the average houshold income in around 35k. so id say one person making 50k a yer is above average. so in your world. everyone makes what 30 dollars a hour lol. ookaaaayy
wow. are people really on here argueing that 50k a year is not good. wow. the average income is 10 dollars a hour and 50k a year is more than double that. so yeah technically 50k a year is better than average.
10/10

Seriously - eveyone on LRC makes at least $250k/yr. Talking about 50k on here would be like talking about your 16 min. 5k, your 120 IQ or your 7" D.

Thank you very much. I've tried trolling a few times but I never really got one to stick around for more than one day or more than a few replies. I beat my PR by at least 20 posts on this one.
I fear you will have to give it another shot. Acknowledging oneself as a troll is an auto-DQ of one's troll score. This may seem unfair but constitutes the highest of ancient wisdom. Said score, in any event, was closer to 5/10. Good luck next time.
He already peaked in HS at young age. He trained and was coached like a pro. I never thought he was a big deal. When other kids were being kids, he was training like a post-collegiate. He made a smart move to the lesser sport for the money and glory.
