It's possible, but that's relatively unlikely. "Very easily" is not really accurate.

The German team will probably be fixed after Dusseldorf. Jan Fitschen (2006 European 10,000m champion) is optimistic he can still make the standard, but although I wish him the best of luck, I think it's very unlikely.
Like the UK, Germany requires a time of 2:12, which probably means they will send no men this year. Which is a bit ridiculous, given that the Olympics are one of the few chances to get exposure (and therefore sponsorship) for athletes, who otherwise cannot afford to train full time.
For the women, Susanne Hahn, Irina Mikitenko and
Sabrina Mockenhaupt have qualified (German standard is 2:30), and will go to London. Unless Mikitenko thinks otherwise, like she has done with past world and European championships.
