I feel like a tool for saying it: Dark Knight....

It is a perfect movie like 'Casablanca', but a bit more to my taste since I like action. It is the very first movie I ever saw in a theater so maybe I'm biased. I can't watch it every day, but when I do watch it, I am always thrilled. Always!
Have to agree - Raiders is the absolute best.
Requiem for a dream.
Patton
It is tough to choose one but 'Good Fellas' is always at the top of the list for me. In a totally different genre but not too far behind would be 'Animal House'.

I suppose if I'm going to call it my favorite movie, I should at least spell the title correctly: Mulholland Drive.

My #1 is also "Magnolia," but the very close runner-up is "Almost Famous." I like most Cameron Crowe films except his latest was a little too sappy for me.

I'm not sure what I think on this point. I just like the movie in any of its forms. The more the better. So yea, the Decker narration is pretty cool, but I like it without it too.Off topic and on the cyberpunk issue, the best animation is the original Ghost in the Shell. All the followup stuff is amazing too.
