How will Paula do in Vienna half marathon? Paula is still a mystery.

Makau and Kirui are already qualified
I think Makau is only qualified if he is still the WR holder after this and next weekend.

I doubt she will go all out in Vienna. With her injury track record, it will probably be a good idea to just tempo through it. I say 1:09:xx.
Cheruiyot, Tola, Daska, Bogomolova out.

These next two weekends will be awesome.
True.
I have a feeling that AK will give us a shocker.
Just my feelings.
I really don't understand why Kenya didn't just declare one of those events as their Olympic Trials and have them race each other to select the team.
If they can do it with the 10,000 at Pre they can do it with the marathon.
I understand that it is a money issue and no one event could pay all of these guys what they have been getting in seperate events.
But selecting a team from different courses is insane.
Boston could potentially be slow since we won't have Ryan Hall pushing the first half. Unless they choose to run a fast time to impress AK, we'll probably see 2:06 or even 2:07. Still a very good time, of course.
I predict 1:11:09 from Paula an average time. She's just not in shape to run faster than 2:22:18. I could be wrong but I hope I'm not. Paula should be ready. She's had a long time to train skipping feb-march half marathons.
Paula is always injured. She made an excuse saying she has bronchitis so she can't run fast.

It would be a good time but not great. Boston is still net downhill and fast, even without 25 mph winds pushing the runners along.
No wonder G. Mutai's not going for time this year, but he should still run as fast or faster as he would on any other course because of the downhills.

hahaha. are you serious? is that why the CR at boston was 2:07 while the WR was 2:04? it is not a fast course

london will be a slow race. there will not be a single <2:04
This statement is ridiculous.
I think a 2:21:00 run from pauline Njeri this week and 2:24:07 for Shitaye Bedaso.

So the WR should be 1:59 now huh, on a course that's not downhill with the wind.

Well, I'm not a fat jogger and I can vouch that Boston is not a fast course, but you wouldn't understand that unless you've done it.
