Kidd is NOT the best of the three. He's not any kind of a good shooter.
well kidd nearly averaged a triple double when he was 38. he also has way more triple doubles than stockton or nash, and is one of the tops all time in trip-doubs. also, he used to be a very good 3pt shooter. he played better D than both of them, was nearly as good as a passer, and was 100x better than both of them at rebounding. he also came through in the clutch, which neither nash or stockton did. most underrated player of alltime, jason kidd.
also, the talent in the NBA is 10x better now than the 90s. the 90s was slow as sh*t, with some large but not that talented guys beating the crap out of each other. no way in hell Jordan and the Bulls could win 6 in a row now. you probably just spent more time watching in the 90s if you really think they were better than today. gaurds sucked in the 90s, except for a select few. yes, there were some decent big guys, who would all be mediocre in todays game because they are so freakin slow (mourning, olajuwon, etc.) they couldnt handle dwight howard's athleticism. the 90s were the worst of times in the NBA.
