Trying to drop repeat 400s sub 60 in practice is asinine and will guarantee a very short career. Mileage now, speed later... much later.
Repeat 400s in sub60 will not guarantee a short career. Just limit the number of them so that they don't prevent you from completing your primary base workout (tempo runs).
