Hi everyone. I'm a long time reader of this thread and first time poster.
Su: am - 7 easy (8:50)
M: am - 7 easy (8:29)
Tu: am - 8 easy/steady (8:01) 10x100m strides / pm - 40 min bike
W: am - 9 hilly run (8:55) / pm - 4 easy (8:45)
Th: OFF (planned)
F: am - 9 easy (9:11)
Sa: am - 14 total w/ 10 miles at MP (7:10)
Weekly Total - 55 miles
I was disappointed in my MP run on Sat as I hit a 6mi at 6:45 a couple weeks ago. I'm ot sure what the difference was this week but I was a lot slower. I'm hoping that at this point just getting in the distance and effort will be beneficial. I have mainly a mile-10k background so these types of runs are fairly new to me. I've run a couple of 1/2's and one full marathon in the past, but I have never really raced either or done proper training for the distance.
