this always bugs the crap out of me. it's bad enough that contestants on this show frequently are terrible betters, but why in the name of anything holy would you bet an "odd" amount?! there are no clues worth $500, $1500, $2500, etc...
betting $1500 is like asking to lose by $100.

I love to shout "Bet It All, Jacka**" no matter how much they have or don't have and no matter the point in the contest at which they get it. It's good for a laugh.
