Well not to beat a dead horse...
The 2 PBs that attacked me (Tue) a lady yesterday and she is now in the hospital. The newspaper report is below.
Do I know it was the exact same PBs...no
The police told me theye were owned by a guy visiting from AZ. and the paper reported the dogs that attacked the lady were owned by the homeowners (who live on the same block as where I was attacked from) son who was visiting from AZ. I am sure they were the same ones.
NOW I have a fear..1st the dogs were on the 10 day house arrest they put dangerous animals on here in CO. Well duh its not like dogs aren't always on HA.
2nd...they wern't taken from the home in my case since I was able to fight them off meaning they technically haven't attacked a human...who knows I could have poked holes and ripped my jacket and scratched my arm???
3rd...the lady was invited inside when the dogs got loose and attacked her...but she was IN the house while they were on HA...does that mean they were rightfully protecting their property? I have a feeling it will be seen like that.
DAMN this pisses me off. I just said to the cops on tuesday that those dogs will seriously harm/kill someone.
This is the press release:
A woman selling meat for her family business was attacked on Thursday as she tried to enter a customer's home.
The woman was bitten on both her arms and her left foot during the incident, which took place around noon on Thursday.
Sitting at her home about a mile west of where the incident took place, Giron said the dogs attacked without warning.
“I was fighting for my life,” Giron said.
Alex Garcia, of Arizona, was cited on suspicion of two counts of possession of a vicious animal.
One of the dogs recently had a litter of puppies, Lt. David Spies of the Police Department said. They also belonged to Garcia, who was visiting the house where his father lived at the time of the attack.
After Giron knocked on the door at the house, Spies said someone inside the house opened a door, at which point the dogs pushed through the residence's screen door and attacked her.
Giron said she had four distinct bite marks — one above each elbow, one on her right forearm and another on her left foot, specifically her large toe. She was taken by her niece the hospital. Giron, who does not have health insurance, said she will likely receive stitches for the wounds today due to concerns of infection.
She said she visited the house to sell meat she receives from friends. She said she last visited the house six to seven months ago. She has seen the dogs before.
“I couldn't get to her fast enough,” Tarrara Garcia said. “By the time I got out of the car and up there it was already all said and done.”
