i think you can actually see cragg's leg and arm if you look closely. they're right above the red white and green spikes of the guy all the way to the right in the picture. he's just obscured by the guys in front of him.
On that picture you'll have to go to the IAAF article and click the picture of Bekele's head.

I watched the race on CBC and saw Cragg come in under 13 minutes behind a couple Africans. Hopefully this will put an end to the debate probably started by one loser who thought it would be funny to tell everyone Cragg DNF'ed.

BS Results...Kiprop is not even a Junior anymore so for him to set a National Junior Record is bogus.
You dill. It refers to the boy Bekele above Kiprop and as he's been selected to run in the WJC in Beijing this year just recently, he is apparently still being accepted as a junior.

I was probably beeing economical with the truth re their school being down the road from us, didnt expect a saffer to be lurking! What I do remember is seeing their names in the Joburg results section of the newspaper, and one or two of our chaps being familiar with them as most schoolboy runners at the time were. I think I'm referring to the two older brothers, Im pretty sure the one was Duncan. They were like the guys every runner knew of, if not having raced or met them. Their times were quite intimidating for wannabe runners to behold. I was at King Edwards.
I just watched the final two laps on tape from the CBC. With about 2 laps left there were about 10 guys in the lead pack. Cragg was not one of them. There was one guy in an adidas kit and I believe that was Goumri. There was no tall, thin white guy with a shaved head in an orange kit. Just what I saw.
they got it wrong...just watched the replay of the finish just over 2 hours into the coverage and the 5th runner across the line is not Cragg...the only one with the same orange singlet across the line is Abderrahim Goumri (Mor). They stood next to each other at the start so you could see the color of their singlets. Not like the iaaf to get a wrong order of finish but it looks like it this time.
If you blow up the photo and look closely behind the third runner, 40 degrees to the left of his elbow and 2.6 metres in the distance you can clearly see the white face of.......

Good catch by the ppl that saw that... After Tariku at 12:55 two africans finish behind him.. about high 12:57 and then Gaoumori.. so if the lighter skined person was Cragg he finished in 12:58.. .i am pretty sure it was the moroccon.. i could tell by his running style that it was not cragg.

No doubt? The only evidence that he did isn't evidence at all. It's just a bunch of anonymous Internet posters claiming the IAAF official results and story are bogus.
Unless the IAAF site changes, the result is what it is.
they'll revise the results as they like to monitor this board for review of all things running...
