Thanks man. That made my day. The first guy didn't even place his foot properly and the second either hesitated when he saw his teammate or had no idea how to how to step the barrier. Regardless, the second guy didn't get his foot over when he 'hopped' the barrier with one hand on it. I don't know what more humorous, the runners both eating it or how giddy the girl got when she said "I got it on video!" I feel bad for those guys, but that was great.

Bastards! I hit a barrier last Saturday and have the County Championships race coming up this weekend - this video really made me wince & now i've got to go and not allow replays of it to run in my mind 'cause it'll knock my confidence.

We had some sweet 4x100s at the end of that meet. Men's Pole Vault team did the water pit mid relay. Amazing!
It makes me sick that a coach still has a job after watching those sorry attempts at water jumps, who put their hands on the barrier when they jump!?!?

From what I hear from people on the team, the second guy was laughing too hard and planted his hand because he knew he was gonna bite it too from laughing or trample the first guy.

neither of those guys are steeplechasers - it was the last meet of the season and 6 or 7 of the distance guys did it for "fun," if you can call what happened "fun."
