What does this mean? All semester I have not spoken a word to her, and when I went for help she knew who I was. The class has over 100 people. She is very attractive and I was wondering if this indicates she has a thing for me. What say you, Letsrun?
I'll provide something like the first 10 responses all at once:
Please, get over yourself, you're not that important. With that said, we need her picture and yes, go ahead and tell her you know she thinks you're something special. Get back to us with her blank stare response and escape from grad. school.
Some people are just really good with names/people; who knows where she might have learned your name. So I wouldn't count on it.
On the other hand, she knows who you are so that's a start. If you're interested, let her know!

People who teach things have a way of knowing who is showing up and who is not. Maybe that is your answer.

That's her job. I used to TA for classes with over 100 people and by halfway through the semester would know everyone's name. And I promptly forgot them after the term was over, don't think too much of yourself.
It's not a good sign if your TA knows your name. I only remembered the names of people who made idiotic mistakes on their exams.

This is why females have to be so careful what males they smile at or treat nicely. Lots of guys who get a smile from a girl think the girl must be in love with him. Blame guys like the OP next time a woman treats you coldly.
