Okay maybe it is just me. So what could he do. You know a 50 sec 400 is like jogging to a guy like that. I just think some of those 400 panseys should step up and try to use that speed in a race that's a little tougher. |

Yes, a 50 second quarter is nothing to this guy. But, the 60 second quarter after that 50 would be pure torture. We're talking about twice as far as this guy is racing now. Completely different energy requirements. He doesn't have the endurance and to gain the endurance he would have to compromise his speed so when he got in decent 800m shape he wouldn't be in 44 second quarter shape anymore. Alan |

You guys are looking at the wrong guy. The guy you should be looking at for 800 is Kerron Clement, who ran 16-something in cross in hs AND took out MJ's indoor WR. |
