      • There are a lot of good ones to choose from. Men's 800 will be interesting if Rudisha and Murphy are healthy (maybe even Makh daddy). Add in Korir and Amos and it should be a fast one.

      • To the OP, why do you set your goals so low? Like who tells themselves, "hey I want to run for the Hanson's." They suck, they have never produced a sub 2:10 marathoner. Despite all their funding. Bill squires produced what? Like half a dozen sub 2:10 marathoners with no corporate backing.

        Because A) even running the 14:00/29:00/2:20:20 needed to get into the program is a crap shoot for me.
        B) They develop guys well, their best runner ever didn't even crack 10 in HS then ran 2:10 under them.
        And
        C) Brooks is my favourite brand when it comes to running.

        I could see myself joining Brooks' beasts instead if I run fast enough in college.

        Distance races will be tactical because of the heat...10ks will be a 9200m jog & 800m dash.
