There will be a pace-setter, so they will have help to get a good time. What do you think geniuses?? Show your stuff, who will do what? My predictions: Torres 13:23 Ritz 13:25 Anyone else?? C'mon Vipam, you love these prediction games. And you are also always trying to prove that you are interested in US runners as much as African runners (ok, which I do believe). Sooooo......here is your chance: step up and give us some of your famous prediction stuff, right down the the 1/100th of a second! |

My predictions: Ritz: can't carry Bekele's jock Torres: he can, but only for a few yards before he realizes he is not worthy to do so. |

Watched Webb run 13:30(splits - 4:19 & 8:39) on Thursday night @ the Penns. Have to believe that Ritz & Torres run faster. Ritz in an upset @ 13:23! |

it is amazing to me that all of a sudden ritz is the underdog to torres. last time they raced it wasn't even close |

Has Ritz ever beaten Torres? |

Please get a clue. Jorge is NOT going 13:19 in Oregon. How do you possibly leap to 13:19 off of 3:43 1500 last weekend? I would put it for Jorge at 13:29, Ritz- no freaking idea, nor does anyone else have any idea on here. |

I agree. How the FUCK is Ritz an underdog?? Ritz goes 13:25 and Torres goes 13:33, that's my prediction and yes I'm drunk right now but that doesn't matter. |

I agree that Torres doesn't have great speed, but come on his PR in the 1500 is only 3:41-:42 and he's run 13:24, so why is it inconcievable fro him to run under 13:30. I'm not even worried about who runs faster, I would just like to see them go under 13:25. |

Torres will be all excited and starstruck before the race. He will very loudly start blurting out, "DATHAN RITZENHEIN IS IN THIS RACE!!! DATHAN RITZENHEIN IS COMPLETING HIS WARM-UP!!! DATHAN RITZENHEIN IS NOW RUNNING STRIDERS!!!" Then because he got too excited beforehand and wasted energy, Ritz beats him by 15 seconds. |

Jeez guys, didn't Ritz run 13:25 as a CO frosh? I have to believe he can beat that: Ritz 13:20 Torres 13:27 |

Yes, Ritz served Torres at USATF XC in Feb. If Ritz is in good shape, I can see him breaking 13:20 and Torres can do the same thing given the right circumstances. |

How is Ritz the underdog? This kid has spanked Torres for most of their adult lives. Ritz wins this one. 13:28. Torres in 13:35 |

I don't think either one will go under 13:30. I was right on about Ryan Shay time at Boston this year, lets see if I can pick this one. Any one want my durby pick for this Saturday? J |
