I was also incredibly devestated to hear this yesterday. Like several people here, I never met Riley (I ran in D1) but watched him run at meets for a few years. When you are a senior and watch your times get destroyed by a d2 guys who is a freshman, you aren't too happy...but at the same time there is a large amount of respect there. That is exactly how I felt about Riley, from watching him run, carry himself, and from what others said about him he was a total class act. Truly a great ambassador for the sport. I certainly don't mind losing to that.
