Ran for Miami Central High. 4A Florida State XC Champ his senior year (16:00). Ran a 4:12 mile as a junior for state championship and then Senior year set Prs of 1:53 and 9:30. His high school times were good not great but every time I got to see him run he seemed to have a very efficient stride. not surprised he made this huge jump up. |

well his from miami florida graduated from miami central senior high school race him all 4 years of high school track and xc. and now he is the 2005 NCAA 800 INDOOR CHAMP. |

not surprisingly no one is hear talking about kevin hicks winning the 800m US Champs and winning the NCAA Champs. this rediculous, if Brannen did the same eveyrone would be on here talkin about him. Hicks is da real stuff, give the man some props. |

Yea that pic is from the State XC title that he won. Came from way behind in the last 300 meters to win that race. I was lucky enough to watch it and it is still one of the most amazing kick performances I've witnessed in person. |
