      • By the way. Under the stands you have a indoor 550m track perfect for warming up at Bislett.

        When I lived in Norway my apartment was 200m from Bislett :-)

      • Still 15 minutes away, but here is the 5000m field. Pace calls for 12:52. Made up of a lot of guys who have run fast a long time ago, and could run fast if the tactical stars align.

        Men’s Triple Jump: Alex Copello Wins But No One Breaks 17m

        30-year old Cuban Alex Copello, the 2009 bronze medallist at Worlds, got the win with a 16.91m second round jump, a nice improvement of the 4th place showing he put at Pre (he was also third in Doha). But perhaps the bigger news was the name of the second-placer - Teddy Tamgho - who got second by jumping an outdoor seasonal best of 16.80 (previous best of 16.63m, but his best jump of the year came in his first indoor meet (16.98)), but 16.80 certainly isn't gong to scare too many people.

      • The start lists for many of these events are pretty anemic besides the Dream Mile. The Diamond League has too many events in the early part of the outdoor season...they're diluting the fields big time.

        Maybe Willis can still get his 3:49. Kenyans hate the rain but maybe this will slow the pace from supposed WR attempt to just under 3:50.

        Correction Libania Grenot of Italy was the one leading who faded to 6th on the final stretch.

        They said that was Gayot but the results list lane #7 as being the ItalianLibania Grenot .
