Can the Rossi kids please go back to their thread.

Does anyone have any actual conclusive proof he has cheated? Not just theories and bitter conspiracy born from jealousy and deep loathed hatred of their own failures in life?
I genuinely want to know if he has cheated but I also think alot of people on here have issues.
What would be conclusive proof for you?

That thread has gotten boring after a year. This is where the action is. You only have to make room for 12 of us.
thread is about another cheat wrote:Hi Mike wrote:Can the Rossi kids please go back to their thread.Tom Crockford wrote:Hi Mike! You can go back to gazing at your navel now and taking selfies, because we know you aren't going to run a 3:11 and collect $200K!

Everything does not revolve around Mike Rossi outside your little world.
so the answer is NO, there is no conclusive proof. Just guesses, speculation and stalking.
what is conclusive proof wrote:Tom Crockford wrote:What would be conclusive proof for you?

Let me try to explain this is small bites for you so perhaps you can comprehend. There were questions raised when someone went to run with Robert and while the RV was traveling slowly, lo and behold, Robert was nowhere to be seen.
Those questions got folks looking into other aspects of this run and Robert's previous claims. Everywhere they look, more questionable data and claims are found.
So, Robert was asked to provide some supporting data. But all he and his supporters will provide is character references, or obsfucation. They won't provide GPS data, won't upload data. They will provide bits and pieces of meaningless data however, or provide meaningless answers to questions (e.g. He ran a 5:47 mile recently in response to proof of his reported 10k PR of sub-31).
Why don't you read the thread like everyone else?

One of the reviews concerning his book:
"Very egotistical and full of self indulgence."

I have read the entire thread and I see no conclusive proof. Just alot of weirdos with theories and accusations.

At least he makes sure he's doing the miles. That is what it's comes down to, to see if he can churn out the miles despite getting more fatigued every day. He was supposedly used to running a Marathon a day, now he has to run at least 2 to get anywhere close to that record. For 2 weeks more.

Does this Great and Powerful Laz not understand that we really don't need to know whether not RY is cheating now? We really need to have him upload his GPS data for the miraculous segments earlier in the run. And now I hear that he is advising RY not to post his data?
When claiming any kind of athletic achievement, it's incumbent upon the person claiming the feat to have proof that they ran the full distance. That's why we have course certification rules, rules about how races can be timed, etc.

I fully understand that and I get the concern over times etc

Unfortunately in the ultra running community there seems to be an emphasis on "feats" which are involve some kind of story about a personal journey (and therefore not subject to rules and verification). And that's OK, but until there are rules and a ratification process that the larger community trusts, it never really makes the transition from being a "story" to a verified accomplishment (especially when it's the case that we have reason to doubt the storytellers fidelity to the truth to begin with)
I think you accurately describe the difference in mentality here.

Laz doesn't care about letsrun and its members.

Good Morning.
Has anyone taken up the offer that Rob's crew extended of giving the phone number of the stranger that allowed Rob to use his cell phone while left alone in Emporia during the Mr G's car wash video controversy? Also the Bar maid too? A call to this guy could be conclusive to see if this version is legit. Also, a call to this guy might reveal a lame attempt to craft a phony cover up too. A call to the bar maid will reveal which tavern and give a time stamp and we can see how it compares with the time of the Mr G's video.
Additionally if the crew suddenly choses to not give this number after telling us they would that would be telling too.
Laz seems to be the one to ask for such a request.
If Rob Young made a contribution to get people running parkruns etc: good. It doesn't mean that the non-devotees cannot have a critical look at some of the claims that have been made by him or his team.

Even the video is a joke and it's clear it is RY.
Well said.
