at least you post decent stuff unlike most of the keyboard warriors who can't even get off their fat arses to even go and be a hobby jogger alongside RY. All talk and no action as always from these knobbers

Thanks for clearing that up. I think I'm probably done here now though. Have joined ultralist and will post thoughts there. While I appreciate there are people on here wanting to have a grownup conversation, there seem to be far too many kids who are relishing being able to post without being identifiable and this identity theft stuff is doing my head in. The way it's set up over there means there seems to be more considered discussion. And at the end of the day they actually got the guys out there to monitor, rather than ranting non stop about how we'll go out and catch this cheat but never getting out from behind the keyboard.
Sorry bro, but Robert doesn't give "hobby jobs" in compression socks. Try a local gay bar for your fetishes.

You BRR with RY. Do you join him on 15 min/mile hobby jobs in your compression socks and handheld water bottle? lol

It also appears that they've now changed their story and are using the new video to claim that Rob was well behind the RV when Asher first came up on them near Lebo later that night. Initially, the story (captured on the video explanation) was that RY had been running with the RV and jumped in when they were afraid that they were about to be assaulted by a knife-weilding yank. So which is it?

elephantino wrote:Read the most recent (long) fb statement that accompanied their release of the CCTV video showing RY/crackhead walking past the car wash. Maybe I misinterpreted it, but it seems like they're now using it to explain that Rob was still well behind the RV when Asher tried to find him at 2am.
Not sure what you're referring to. The surveillance video and the Asher encounter were several hours apart. Have they said that Rob was well behind the RV again when the Asher encounter happened, which was several hours later than the video?
Their stories have changed and don't make any sense, but I didn't catch that change if they said it.
Of course. But that works beautifully on letsrun. Likely Troll of the Year material.

Not a bad 188 page summary. I'm impressed.

From my perspective I see Asher posting under an unregistered name - same as me before you say anything. This in itself is enough to cause doubt as to his credibility.
are you jealous?

How many miles did Rob run today?
were you still breast fed at a late age?

i was starting to believe that RY was a cheat. But I am also now thinking Asher is a fraud who is just looking for attention.

Asher has proven nothing apart from stirring up a hornets nest of speculation and hatred.
Last year's winner used pretty much the same "strategy":

And there we are on page 1219. Because of a 3:11 in a marathon.
+1

Hi Mike! You can go back to gazing at your navel now and taking selfies, because we know you aren't going to run a 3:11 and collect $200K!

Does anyone have any actual conclusive proof he has cheated? Not just theories and bitter conspiracy born from jealousy and deep loathed hatred of their own failures in life?
I genuinely want to know if he has cheated but I also think alot of people on here have issues.
It would be incredibly odd if a book about his life wasnt very indulgent on the subject of himself!

Amazing. Love your copy and paste skills. Makes your crusade seem a little less odd.

This is not simply a book about a man who runs. It's about what a man - not a lot different from you or me - can achieve. What he'd done and the simple, almost childish, way he's done it will lift your hopes and make your heart fly.
Forget your Seb Coe's, your Daley Thompson's, put aside all you know about athletic and sporting triumphs, meet the man who tore up the record books and redefined what us - your normal mortals - can achieve. Rob has run further and longer than any other man before him ... and he's deep down ordinary. Meet the man in a book you'll never forget. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.
