Teddy Atlas, Boxing, CNBC by a mile. I figured out why he's so good. He serves as a technical and color announcer at the same time. If you can turn on boxing at your house, listen to this guy, he's awesome. After a couple bouts of listening to him, I feel like I could go in the ring. Then after waking up from a 10 second knockout (being knocked out in 10 seconds) I would still feel like I had a chance. He's really down to earth, honest and knows how to laugh at himself. He asks questions to learn more for his own benefit. He just said that for guys to get into his club, they have to have to go through a tutoring period for school first, they are evaluated based on their attitude toward learning and then allowed in the club when they show they care about their education. I'm already tiresome of the swimming, gymnastics drivel. Forced drama where there is none is insulting and all about money. I don't even want to turn on basketball. |

I haven't seen the boxing guy but yeah the swimming and gymnastics announcers are too dramatic, especially Al Troutwig. I wish they would just announce the sport. |

I watched judo yesterday using NBC's online video....no announcers. I could have used a little explanation of the rules but it was refreshing to just watch without blather. |

I liked Paul Sherwen during the cycling road course. Unfortunately he was sans Phil Liggett, which detracted from it a little. Those two are amazing, as they can make a 4 hour bike race entertaining the whole time. |
