In response to the recent tragedy in Colorado, I suggest we arm the 16 year old movie ushers & popcorn makers at the cinema. Their uniform would include a bow tie & gun holster. In addition to their training to take tickets, they could learn how to shoot a gun. They could learn submission holds to take down perps after restocking Twizzlers & soda cups. Finally, there could be admission discounts to movie goers who bring their weapon with them. Senior citizen discounts could be replaced by NRA member discounts. With the aforementioned steps, I believe we could have stopped this terrible tragedy! |

Yes, we are biased but the American public is too stupid to understand this, but you miss the point that some 15-year old usher is no match for a deranged gunman on a killing spree.
