Watching Sanya Richards-Ross at the start of the 200 heats, I couldn't help but notice her skin on her abdomen seemed to have a lot of weird spots. Not sure if it is acne (like Marion Jones had) or something else, or if it has always been there. I know she's been great at the 400 for quite some time, but given her sudden rise to prominence in the 200, are there any doping rumors surrounding her? While I'm convinced Carmelita Cheater is a pharmacy running down the track, I'd like to think SRR is clean. What do y'all think? |

It's the skin condition she battles; the name escapes me right now, but it's given her issues in the past, i believe most recently in 2010 or thereabouts. |

there are news reports from the last few months where she said the behcet's was a misdiagnosis. she declined to name what she's dealing/dealt with, but said shes happy to be back and training well, |

Yeah, she's definitely battling something. I doubt she's doping, she has run at an incredibly high level since HS and she's still fairly young. She has missed some training for years so perhaps that's why her 200 times are finally improving. |

Sudden rise to prominence? Just because she decided to run the 200, she's been a great 400 runner for a while, obviously she has speed. Geeez- can anyone he good without some idiot accusing them or being "suspicious" and of course you have no doubt Jeter is a cheater. Why waste all this money and time on drug testing WADA should just come to you. |

What do we all think. I, at least, think you are a insignificant little a**hole trying to get 15 seconds of fame. You missed it, took only 10 seconds to type this. Hopefully Mr Ross will come looking for you. It is easy to get an IP now. |

She ran has a pr of 48.7, and has run sub 11 in the 100. So her 200m performance is really a shock?!? Move on. |

It's the same reason she always wears arm warmers, even when it's hot out. She has a skin condition and is losing the skin color on certain parts of her body. Her arms are one part and I guess it's also on her stomach. |

she's also run many good 200s in the past. she just hasn't run it as much the last couple years before this year. |

"Suspicious," why don't you do a little homework before coming on here? It's pretty well-known that the health problems she's had caused what you saw. No need to impugn her character. |

I'm really tired of seeing Richards Ross on that stupid Citibank commercial. Yes dopes lets pretend we're in london and watch a stupid athlete run around in a circle. Uggggggggh people are so stupid Fvck srr and Fvck Citibank |

She looks like a person who has put in a lot of work, and who has watched her diet closely. She looks lean, mean, and energized, something I haven't seen from her in a long time. Very nice, and I think eminently doable cleanly. And her times? It's not like she's threatening any East German, or FloJo records. I think that she deserves serious credit for amazing hard work, and good for her. |

I think any athlete who is dominant in elite sports is suspicious. Hate to sound like a cynic, but we've learned over the past 8 years or so with the likes of Marion Jones, Barry Bonds, Lance Armstrong, etc; that it takes some chemicals to compete on the real level playing field. Anyone who thinks otherwise is simple. |

I think Allyson Felix and Sanya Richards Ross are pretty clearly clean. Their muscle definition is perfectly attainable, they're both workhorses, and they've been at the top of the game since high schools. Both phenomenally talented and very driven. Jeter is a different case. Her muscle definition is HIGHLY suspect, and the trend of her times (slow a few years ago and now second faster ever at around 30?) is very suspicious. I highly doubt she is clean. |

@the obvious Muscle definition is not an accurate indicator of PED use/non-use, especially considering anabolic steroids are not the only form of drug abuse. 2nd, I love when people say "..." was running world class times in High School. Well guess what? High School athletes have access to PEDs as well. I knew a kid in 8th grade who got caught with steroids in the locker room, go figure. I'm not saying for sure who's on PEDs and who's not, but common sense and perception lead me to believe that most things are too good to be true. |

Damn, everybody jumped all over the OP for suspecting that a sprinter uses PEDs? Sprinters are just barely less suspicious than professional cyclists and shot putters. SRR is getting older and getting more dominant than ever before, that is good enough to make me suspicious... But I really don't care, I'll root for her. |
