Boston was lucky that Bynum was injured. If he had played in that series, Pierce and KG would still be ring-less! |
| almost a triple double |

Mike Miller was a former rookie of the year. The cavaliers could have gotten him from minnesota for virtually nothing in the 08-09 season with Wally Szczerbiak's expiring contract, but decided to keep Szczerbiak. That was the year a doped up Rashard Lewis hit two end of the game 3 pointers to beat the Cavs and then got a whole 10 game suspension at the start of the next year. Since then his career steadily deteriorated culminating in averaging 7.8 points this past year while shooting 38% from the field and 23% from the 3 point line while earning over 21 million dollars!! which I believe was the 2nd highest in the league. (Sometimes the dopers really do win) |

L.A. was lucky Perkins was injured for Game 7 in 2010. If he had played, Pierce and KG would have two rings! See how the "if" game works? |

I'm happy for LeBron. He overcame a ton of negativity and really raised his game from the previous finals. He struggled last year, but used that information to grow and improve. I wanted the heat to win this year, but as of right now I'm rooting for the Bulls or OKC next year. |

Yes, I do... and you lose. Tell me, how many times has Perkins been on the All-Star team? How many All-NBA teams has he made? I didn't think so. Perkins isn't half the player that Bynum is. Perkins is moderately talented, at best. If you are genuinely trying to compare him to Bynum, you should probably stick to track & field because basketball simply isn't your game. |

Perkins was the best interior defender and rebounder on that team. With Perkins out, the Lakers got 23 offensive rebounds in Game 7. Granted, the Lakers tried as hard as they could to choke away that game: they shot 32 percent and Kobe went 6-for-24 (lol). But when the refs give you more free throws in the last nine minutes than the other team shoots IN THE ENTIRE GAME, then it's pretty hard to lose. It's hard to believe a team could get 23 offensive boards, shoot 37 free throws, and STILL only score 83 points-- pretty much the opposite of clutch. Case closed. |
