Anyone know what has she been up to since transfering to UNC? I thought she raced a year or so for them and could have sworn she had eligibility left...She wasn't listed on the 2011 XC roster despite racing in the fall, nor is she on the 2011-2012 T&F roster and I can't recall seeing her in any results...She had seemed so talented and full of potential while at Washington |

UNC is a mess and Dennis Craddock has decided to try and make life miserable for everyone on his way out. No release for Hurtz and they kicked Schaff off the team when she asked for a release to explore graduate school options. You will she her somewhere next year |

UNC is indeed a mess. But, Kendra Schaaf has been a mess for years. Take a look at her body...completely malnourished, repeatedly injured. So sad, another talent gone to waste under Pete Watson's terrible coaching. Running athletes into the ground and not looking after their health. Dennis Craddock is an absoloute dickhead. UNC is a school gone to waste...I hope to see Schaaf back after she gets herself healthy. |

Its a common fact all these girls are so talented, yet they sre running skeletons and end up injured constantly. Think Ashley Brasovan, Kendra Schaaf, Alex Dunne, Megan Goethals, Allie McLoughlin, and the list goes on |

Being super skinny is the worst performance enhancer there is. It'll make you dominate for a few years in high school but you always crash hard. If there's one person I'm not sure should be on this list it's Schaaf. She's skinny as hell but she didn't crash and burn in college like the other girls did. |

She miss an extended period at the UW for an unexplained and mysterious reason. |

So is she running? |

I'm not a Kendra Schaaf expert so it seems like she has had periods out. But I mean, compare her to people who dropped off the map like Mclaughlin and Brasovan. |

If she had stayed healthy and fit, perhaps she could have joined a decent young Canadian contingent for London |

McLaughlin and Brasovan are totally toast. Schaaf has had some struggles, but has pulled out some decent seasons amongst all that. Kinda declined since her 2nd at NCAA Cross back in 2009. Can't really group Goethals with that group cause she missed a few months due to weight but has been running as one of the best in the NCAA for over a year now (4:20 1500, 9:08 3000 indoors, 15:40s 5k, Top 20 in cross.) |

Schaaf has in the last year been top 15 NCAA 2 times run 4:20 1500 4:44 mile and 15:52. I don't think she has dissapeared! I would expect to see her running fast at a different school next year. |

They can't even get the current women there to stay in line. Coaching and social coordinating involve two different skill sets. |

Who Kevin Jermyn??? What's the go with him? All I know is Duke has not developed any athletes. They recruit runners who end up hurt, get their scholarships cut or they quit. I'd hate to see how malnourished Schaaf would further get at Duke |
