That was by far the most unusual 10k I have ever seen. If his goal was to hurt as much as possible before the finish line - mission accomplished. I've never seen someone build a lead that big, lose it, then build it again, then practically walk the last 30m and collapse. That took serious cajones.

His race was just dumb. All that surging was a bad idea considering he is running the 5k on Saturday. He could have dropped half of those kids without needing that second ridiculous surge. |
