I have had all the symptoms of hypothyroidism besides weight gain,(I'm actually underweight) and a recent blood work showed an elevated TSH. I have just been placed on synthroid. What experiences have any of you had on thyroid therapy with running? Better/worse/no effect? Any Non-Running Related Side Effects? |

Should help. The thryoid hormone is involved with energy production, not enough then V02 drops. |

I have the same issue (hypothyroid, underweight, mildly elevated TSH) and my endocrinologist is employing the strategy of watchful waiting. That said, I seem to cycle through euthyroid and hypothyroid phases. I opted not to take medication but go for monthly blood tests to check my thyroid function. |

My resting heart rate went from 45 to 75 bpm. My cholesterol dropped from 596 to 175, and I'm more agressive. I'm taking Levothyroxin, btw. One thing I cannot do is take Mucinex before running. |
