I raced a half yesterday. I totally overdid it - was a 100% effort the whole way. Felt really tough and during the event I knew I was redlining.
For the rest of the day, and still today, I have a headache, the runs, and slight chills. Every now and then I feel nauseaous (sp?).
I took in liquids during the event, drank a ton afterward and ate well all day yesterday.
At first I thought the reason I felt like crap was because I overdid it. But would it really last this long if it was from exertion?
Any thoughts - am I just sick, or have any of you ran yourself into the state I describe?
