He ran 3:40.86 in IAAF GP Fortaleza (Brazil). And watch out. He will be the next Andrew Wheating. |

*New South American 1500m record. Now he will go to train at altitude for World Junior Championships. |

Why is surpassing Austin Mudd significant? Mudd's time, quite honestly, is not extraordinary for a junior. Fernandez was faster at that age, and if he does go to World Juniors, the Kenyans are going to leave him so far behind that when he "unleashes" his trademark kick, it'll be completely futile. |

And also said that he's considering to run 5000m too. -Video of his 1st track race of the year. 3:44 with poor wheather conditions (rain and cold) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abS77VAUz6Q&feature=share |

German Fernandez ran 3:39.00 as a junior. If Bruno's altitude training goes well he'll improve that time. |

And Mudd can still drop time. He's run the 1500 twice this year, sitting and kicking to win fairly comfortably each time. His 3:40 is hardly a peak performance |

Yeah...but he's more focused on 800m or in 1500m? |
| Not a Webb thread,I swear!!!!! |

Ben Wong before we continue are you in fact Bruno? |

Ask the Brojo's, dude. Bruno is in Brazil right now. Competing at IAAF South American circuit. There's no reason for him to enter this forum at this moment of the night, coming from a big effort. 3:38 is the Olympic Standard. He isn't too far from achieve it. |

He is a talent lets hope he develops. |

I know. I know. All those Kenyan juniors must be lying about their age because Kenyans are nothing special at the senior level |

How is that? Hudson Santos de Souza ran 3:33.25. |
