Brian Pilcher ran 41:09 Sunday at the Bloomsday 12K in Spokane, WA. This appears to me to be a new course record for 55-59, beating the previous record of 41:22 by Steve Lester in 1998. Congrats, Brian. Even though you messed up my team's corporate cup score since two of our best runners are in the 55-59 group. (With the bloomsday point system, points are based on how well runners compare to the top runner in their age group). |

congrats to Brian! Here is a list of the all time masters times on the course. The top three Masters this year look to have made the list. : http://www.nwrunner.com/new/index.php/features/all-time-list-race/32-northwest-runner-all-time-list-3--bloomsday |

thanks, towhee. it actually was a national age group record. Steve Lester's time in 98 from Bloomsday was the existing mark, although usatf has it listed as 41:24. tougher course than i expected but great weather... |
