Should I have better PRs based on my training? 5/6/2012 11:05AM Reply | Return to Index | Report Post
I feel like I should have better PRs based on the training I do.
what do you think one should be able to run for the 5 and 10k based on these workouts?

10 x 1km first 8 in 3:00-3:06 9th in 2:58 and las one in 2:55 4-5 min break.

50 x 300ms 2 sets of 25 30 sec break in between intervals and 3 min between sets, most in between 50-52 sec, last 5 in 46-48?

thanks.

You did not post your prs and two workouts can't accurately judge your fitness.

That was stupid.

That is a massive break in your 10x1km intervals. Then again I guess that isn't surprising since your apparently trying to run them 20 seconds per mile faster than your 5K PR pace...

It's pretty hard to extrapolate anything from workouts with the kind of rest you have. Go run something like 10x1km with a 30 sec or minute rest and come back with that.
