Levins is really hot right now. Canada has Bairu, Ahmed, Reid Coolsaet, Rob Watson, Dylan Wykes and Eric Gillis. For the US Solinski is out. Teg is running subpar. Lagat is likely to face serious challengers in the 5000, and may not even make the 1500. Hall seems to be getting slower, other than the fluke Boston. Rupp's allergies will hurt him. |

Watson and Bairu are not going to the Olympics. But I think that the Americans will preform better in the Marathon, and I think if Cam runs the 10,000m he will be the 1st North American. |

It's the SUMMER Olympics. There's no hockey. Americans will rule. |

Lagat will almost definitely medal. No Canadian will. |

Wheating, Centro, and maybe Webb have much more potential in London than whatever no-name Canadian milers there are right now. Lagat, Lomong, and possibly Webb/Ritz/Rupp have much more potential in London than whatever no-name Canadian 5kers there are right now. Levins is good, but not yet as good as Rupp. He's around where Rupp was in college. Not sure what Bairu has done lately that would indicate a breakthrough summer yet. Hall has battled some injuries, but I don't know how he seems to be getting slower. Even if so, he has a several minute cushion before he'd race bad enough to get beaten by any Canadians. Finally Lagat doesn't want to run the 1500, I don't know why people don't get that in their heads. |

Get over yourself - Levins is not on Rupp's level. Probably never will be. 13:18/27:27 is nice, but it's not 13:06/26:48 nice. Don't sleep on the Canadians in the 'thon though, team running is a beautiful thing and those guys are all rolling. |

Neither was Rupp as a collegian. Anything else to add? |

It's not what he HAS done, it's what he was predicted to do. http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?thread=3480117 |

Olympic limitations on number of runners per nation will allow the possibility of a top 10 finish. Many far superior runners won't get the chance to compete. |

I hope you don't think the Africans are worried about the Americans; what a joke. Levins all the way baby!!!!!! |
