Hahaha gotta love you yanks! University of chicago > oxford? So many prestigious international universities getting outranked by University of Colorado, University of St. Louis etc. etc. What a joke. Let me guess this list was created by Americans? |

Any list that puts UC Santa Barbara ahead of Duke and the University of Texas must have some interesting assumptions governing its rankings. Also, the University of Maryland being ahead of UNC, USC, Vanderbilt, Carnegie Mellon and Brown is ridiculous. It also is a non-comprehensive list. Georgetown is missing and should be pretty high. Notre Dame is also missing. Trinity College in Dublin is also missing. All three are very good to excellent schools. Was the fact that they are Catholic schools disqualifying? Hmm. Where is Cal-Tech on the list, an excellent school? The University of Virginia also seems to be missing. |

006 California Institute of Technology c'mon, man... |

these lists are meaningless... obviously small liberal arts schools offer the best undergrad experience and MIT is the best at everything else. |

The US News rankings are a better indicator of undergraduate experience - these are just graduate/research prestige rankings. There are so many big state schools on that list that aren't particularly selective. |

How is Ohio State ahead of the Ecole Normale Superieure? How can you even really compare the two? |

That's Washington University in St. Louis, not St. Louis University. It's a well known private school. I went to number 31. |
