Anyone see what The Cardinal did at PJ? Derrick's success is crazy - 27:31 (to go with his 13:19 indoor) - but consider others: Stutzman - 3:40 Atchoo - 3:42 Johnson - 8:50 steeple Unterreiner - 13:50 Gregg - 13:46 Rosa - 14:04 Rosa - 14:22 Insane. Dunn has his guys rolling, and he doesn't get enough credit, IMO... (And yes, I posted this on the Dave Smith thread. Thought it deserved separate mention) |

What about Bin laden? Does he get credit for that? |

Err umm. Huh? Yes, I'm guessing Stanford's men wishes they were back at Terre Haute in November with guys running like this... |

I will agree with this. He did not get enough credit at UVA, either. When he left for Stanford and UVA grabbed Vig, everyone went nuts. All hail the great Vig. Now UVA will be really good! Seems as though UVA has fallen off a good bit since Dunn and Dunn's guys have left. Meanwhile, Stanford keeps getting better. I'd like to see them run well in an NCAA cross country championship, though. |

I would strongly disagree that they keep getting better. Their gross underperformance at xc nationals every year he has been at Stanford cannot be overlooked. Let's revisit this after he has them all wound up and overwrought going into the NCAA track prelims/regionals. As an alum, I hope for the best. I will agree with this. I also believe he does not get enough credit... How does he stay so tan year-round? Amazing. |
