Hey I am a little confused about the Olympic Trial qualifying stands. On the USATF website they show the following standards on their website:http://www.usatf.org/events/2012/OlympicTrials-TF/entry/qualifyingStandards.asp However, while watching Peyton Jordan I noted that the annoucers were saying the the women had to hit a 31 somthing for the A standard for the 10k and when the A standard is 32:45. Also, people are saying that Alan Webb didn't make the standard when the site says the the A standard for the 1500 for men is 3:59. So what are the standards????? Confused! TL |

The standard for Oly trials here in US are a good minute+slower than the IAAF A standard - and thats what you have to send more than 1 athlete to the games. |
