I want to know also. I ran a 4:23 indoors, but haven't run a 3200 yet.

9:30 give or take, depending on whether you are more endurance or speed oriented.

Yes. Probably without straining. Unless you're like a 45/1:48 400/800 guy. Even then I wouldn't rule it out.

I would be shocked if a 1:48 runner could not break 10.

I knew a guy in high school who ran 4:19 twice for the mile.

He tried to break 10 minutes for 2 miles twice, once at the league meet. I think his fastest time was 10:06.
