Trying to get a fast 1500 in soon (low 3:50s or high 3:40s), and one of the only meets here in California that I can join running unattached is the CSU Stanislaus twilight qualifier on May 11th. Anybody running those times want to head up there? It seems like it's really hit or miss, trying to get a good field. Last year's field was pretty bad, with just a couple people running. |

was thinking about the occidental meet. However, it's an 8 hour drive away and I've already had 2 races in 6 days, want to take a week off from racing this week. It's too bad, I would really like to go, and opportunities for an unattached athlete to race are really starting to dwindle. Bumping for everybody to see! |

fatllama@gmx.com been running for 2.5 years, got a big breakthrough last year when I went from 4:43 to 4:12 my senior year. Taking a gap year this year, been training a lot but the same way as I did last year--strength oriented training, not much speedwork until now. Last year I started making big jumps forward in May when I started doing a lot more mile pace and faster quality workouts. Expect to see the same improvements this May. Already have run 3:55 which is about equal to my 1600m PR, but about a month and a half early. |

Stan St. has a guy in the low 3:50s. He'll probably be running it. |

I hope so. Last year only three guys ran, and he scratched. http://www.directathletics.com/results/track/21105_1383773.html |
