How did USATF snub Lanana? I thought they reached out to him and he turned it down. |

Max is 1000% more qualified than Vin. |
| Options are not |

Sundlund was USATF's 1st choice for CEO. I wish he took the job but I wouldn't have unless Hightower agreed to step down. |
| did they offer it to him? |
| ||
|
How exactly do you know who they offered the job to before Siegel accepted it? |
| Gags wants Vin back |

Vin is bored stuck in that pee hole town. It's time for Vin to return to the Big Apple. |

Nike Beaverton loses $BILLIONS on T&F sponsorships and USATF screws Nike by picking a useless rubber stamp as CEO. |
| Lost in a pee hole ville |

The heads of the five families are in Attica now. Vin can't do nothing but rot in pee hole ville, Oregon. |
| What Say You |

No, it's more like Vin told USATF "Thanks, but No Thanks". Face it, if you were Vin Lananna would you work for an organization that insists on ceding its' "power" to a Stephanie Hightower? In my opinion, the only way Lananna would have hired on with USATF would have been if USATF agreed to move their headquarters to Portland, Oregon. So, Vin L. moves on having to suffer with $600K a year from Oregon, commissions from Wheating, etc. and heaven knows how much more from Nike the USOC and assorted other sources. |
| Gimme a perk, Stephanie |

Hard Core Cold Blooded the way they ignored Vinny. At least they could have given him and his wife a free one week perk to an exotic Italian resort for the job interview. |
| You Idiot |

Why not Ogallala, Nebraska ? |
| What Say You |

Portland, Oregon (suburb Beaverton) because that's where the largest single USATF sponsor does business, and it is very near to where Vin calls home these days. Don't know anything about this Ogallala, Nebraska and what it has to offer. |
| huh ? portland doesn't rate |

indy is fine as it stands. indy is cheap and in the midwest central to the six major centers of us t&f. namely des moines ia, lawrence ks, philadephia pa, austin tx, walnut ca, and palo alto ca. those six centers are where our six historic relay meets are centered which are responsible for 100% of u.s. medals and thousands of medals for other countries. ncaa is also in indy. the other major city for oly sports offices in colorado springs. los angeles and texas is where 1/2 the usa t&f membership lives, where 1/2 the medals come from. so cal where the bulk of nfl and mlb athletes move to to train all year around and the location of the usoc training centers at chula vista. |

Vin snubbed USATF, not the other way around. |

Good move, either way. I cannot imagine Vin having the crap tolerance to operate successfully as USATF's head. |

In what way is he remotely qualified for the position? |
| Thank the Gods |

Since USATF didn't even send on email to Vin about the CEO job they should at least endorse Vinny's move back to NY/NJ to join Gags after London 2012 to retire back home on the east coast. |

The tribe always beleives their man is better, even when it's clear he's an uncreative coat-tail rider like Max. And yet they call everyone else racists or haters. |

Exactly my first thought. Did he even WANT the job? |
