Wow, second best Canadian performance ever (I think)... 4 seconds away from the Canadian record. A+ Olympic standard. ...Quite amazing for a College senior who had PRs of 8:25 (3000m) and 14:19 (5000m), 14 months ago... (probably times too slow, in the eyes of LetsRun poster, to earn a scholarship anywhere)... What does he do now? When is he scheduled to peak? Has he peaked already? NCAAs? Olympics? |

So sick. Levins was 55 or a little under for that last 400. That kick shows he could do some serious things in international races. |

It's possible that those were his "official" PRs, but he was definitely good for faster than that 14 months ago. In 2010, he broke 4 for the mile early in the year, time trialed sub-14 in practice and won the Canadian XC championships. |

Is the Canadian 5k record really 13:14? I thought Sullivan ran 13:10 at one point. . . memory's failing me, I guess. Best of luck to Levins- seems to be an exciting time for our Northern neighbors. Between Levins, Gills, Coolsaet, Wykes, and Watson, they've got a good crew of guys putting in the work and running well. I saw Nate Brannen ran well at Mt. SAC too. |

Yeah, like get beat by 3 seconds on the last lap of a tactical 5k. Obviously he's pretty young and has a lot of time to improve but let's not get ahead of ourselves. |
