1 2:15:25 Paula Radcliffe 2 2:17:18 Paula Radcliffe 3 2:17:42 Paula Radcliffe 4 2:18:20 Liliya Shobukhova 5 2:18:47 Catherine N'dereba 6 2:18:56 Paula Radcliffe 7 2:18:57 Tika Gelana very impressive must say i did not see it coming? 4th all time and now second amongst africans, amazing how africans are still not at the top of the marathoning game for woman. this by comparison to men who dominate men's marathoning since many years. gelena will now be a lock for the olympics with her credentials as the new record holder amongst ethiopians. elsewhere, paula finished in 1:11:50. my previous prediction was been 1:09:50. |

Tiki Gelana makes Mary Keitany pb time look slow. I think mary keitany have some improvements in her unless she have a bad race. |

Mary Keitany didn't run as fast as tiki because her london halfway split was 1:10:37. She could've run 2:18:57 if she split 1:10:15 for the first half. Mary doesn't need to go out conservatively over 1:10:00 for the half marathon. |

I doubt she was much faster for the second half than Gelena. She finished in about 3:00 for the last K, passing the men in the vicinity. |

Tiki would've beaten Irina Mikitenko had she run london marathon. It's important to beat Irina because she defeated many strong ethiopians like atsede habtamu aberu kebede askale tafa. |
