I recently got new Saucony Kinvara 2's; before that, I was running in Mizuno Wave Inspires with Orange Superfeet Insoles. After putting in the superfeet in my Kinvaras, they actually feel kind of weird... whereas the stock insoles in the Kinvaras don't. Should I just stop using the Superfeet and run in stock insoles in the Kinvaras? (ie. do the Kinvaras provide enough arch support and all that?) Thanks! |

Kinvara's and Inspire's are completely different dude. Why did you make the switch? Id go with whatever is comfortable though. |

I made the switch cause I wanted a gradual change in strike from heel striking to forefoot striking. |

Q: do you have high arches? |

No, I have Normal (medium) arches |

There's not really any "arch support" in the Kinvaras; that's kind of the point. That being said, if you like the shoes without the Superfeet, run without them for a while and see how you feel. If you don't want the Superfeet but want more arch support, try the Mirage. |

Considering the reason you would want a minimalist type shoe is to promote natural foot strike, why would you add something as unnatural as Superfeet? |

Not as much as your Mizunos do. Q: ever have episodes of plantar fasciitis? |

Nope, I've never had any cases of Plantar fasciitis. |

Well that could change wearing Kinvaras. Not a very firm shoe. This has been discussed before. Caveat emptor, dude. |
