Some dude by the name of el raton already scooped you. And it looks like the correct forecast is Boston will have a high between 62 and 84.

It's just a marathon....nothing to freak out about. I'd be concerned if it was a long ultra or something, however. Not worth worrying about for the 26.2ers.

there will be more sweat than blood in boston this year but look for an unexpected winner hardened by the heat and pressure of the most unforgiving distance

Think how nice the temperatures would be without:

1. Global warming.
2. Urban heat island effect.

wunderground.com usually is more accurate than the other forecasts, but obviously it is too far ahead for any of them to be reasonably accurate yet. For the record, wunderground.com presently predicts:

"Partly cloudy. High of 52F. Winds from the NNW at 10 to 25 mph. Breezy."

We don't care either about a bunch on wannabe joggers who would never in their lives be able to get into Mt. Sac.

The real race is on the 21st.

In 2004 people were freaking out because the forecast said 75F (noon start). We ended up with 87F and all it did was make the spectators that much more drunk and crazy. Totally worth the 5-10 minutes most people lost due to heat.

Weather does not affect athletes in a good way, only negative. I tell from experience.

I have been following the weather; I have a lot of friends running it, and they're freaking out about the weather. For a marathon starting in the late morning, the weather is of great importance. But last I looked, it's supposed to rain all day.
