Lets see......he abandons Louisville, then heads to ATL. 13 games into the Falcons' season he abruptly quits without even so much as addressing the team. Dude seriously just walked out. He is then seen on tv TWO DAYS LATER at an Arkansas press conference leading a chant as the new head coach! Petrino embodies the term dirtbag.

The guy is a scumbag...to this day, you hear some of those Falcons asst. coaches talk about him with pure hatred. He really jacked their lives up, since most of them subsequently had to lose their job as well.

The fact this is even an issue for Petrino speaks to the depth of hypocrisy our nation exhibits when it comes to college football.

We want our spectacle but we can't handle the truth of just how dirty college football is.

What percentage of sexual assaults on campuses are perpetrated by college football players?

What percentage of college football teams use steroids, weed, binge drink, etc.?

As a former college football player, I can tell you America should be OUTRAGED.

But no one cares.

I didn't hear any calls for the death penalty after 60 TCU players tested positive.

What's more outrageous, a 51 year old having an affair, or 60 scholarship athletes testing positive?

I'd conservatively estimate 60-70% of ALL college football players would test positive for some PED, or illicit drug if there were random year round drug tests by an independent organization.

Also conservatively, hundreds of women are sexually assaulted by scholarship football players every year.

Check out the recent firing of the Montana head coach.

He shouldn't be fired for having an affair. He should be fired for putting on her the schools payroll for $55,000.00. Why is the AD making the call on his future. I would think the president should fire both these guys. The AD had to be aware that they created this job for her.

This guy's biggest decision is whether to go for it on 4th & 2 or not. He is not a moral leader and shouldnt be looked at like one. Obviously an affair isnt expected but that has no impact on his football coaching ability. Should he be fired? Of course not. The only discipline should come from the school regarding the hiring of this lady toy

If their is some type of morality clause in Petrino's contract or wording that could be "conduct unbecoming" as a representative of the University of Arkansas, you bet yer ass he can get fired and rightly so.

Petrino gave his mistress $20K, unfairly hired her over 150 applicants. The AD said Petrino "misused his power", "was manipulative", and "knowingly misled" the university.
