Saw some results today out of colorado. Kids running 16:30 on track 5ks with d1 track scholarships? Is this common. I may be in the wrong sport.

I know guys from my highschool that never broke 4:10 in the 1500, 16:30 5k that were on D1 half rides.

My thoughts, if you go to a small school, have some potiental for upside, than you can get some money if you play your cards right.

Nothing is wrong with that. But you gotta come with an attitude to work

sometimes for title 9 reasons schools create womens teams and give scholarships including full rides, to girls who have never participated in that sport in their entire lives, example rowing.
