Lately I've been getting done, eating a late breakfast and napping...I have a hard time getting motivated to do anything after it. |

Dean once ran the Boston Marathon, then he ran back to Hopkinton to his Hotel. True story. 22 mi is considered an easy run for him. But anyway, you were looking for input on what to do after your long run. Well, I highly recommend jumping on the EliptiGO. http://www.elliptigo.com/ |

When I was in college it was different depending on the season. During XC season it was long run 15-18 followed by breakfast, nap and then HW during football games and a good deal of coffee or beer. During track seasons I would just wake up later and run later in the day, especially after football season. I would feel fine with even just 2 more hours of sleep. Also every changes depending on the amount of alcohol and sleep on Sat nights. |

If it's a morning long run I'm generally starving afterwards so post-run usually consists of icing, stuffing myself with a 2000 calorie brunch, topped off with dozing off for 2 hours. |
