Hey LetsRun,
I'm the captain of the Austin Asthmatics, a Texas Independence Relay team that has had a couple cancellations and is looking for fill-ins for this weekend's event (TIR is a 200-mile, overnight relay from Bastrop to Houston, starting Saturday, March 31 and ending Sunday, April 1).

We're an Austin-based, not-super-fast (39-minute to 52-minute 10k types) co-ed team with a noon-thirty Saturday start time. We'll be going pretty hard (for us) but are primarily looking to have a good time (the team cooler will have a little bit of beer in it along with all the bananas, Gatorade, and CLIF bars).

We'll be departing Austin late morning Saturday, and getting back from Houston some time Sunday evening.

One more (definitely last) bump. Still looking for one--to further incentivize (beyond the guaranteed awesome time) we'll cover all your entry fee, van rental, and team supplies (snacks, medical, gas) costs. Usually runs about $110-$130/person.
